How to set up Calendar Sync

Setting up Calendar Sync:

To access your Symphona calendar link, navigate to Settings > Account Preferences [1]. Please note that if you disable calendar sync, it will cause any past links to break, so it is important to consider digital safety when making this decision.

To set up Calendar Sync, follow these steps:

1. Make sure you are connected to the Internet.
2. Check that you are using the Google Calendar app.
3. Check that the calendar is visible.
4. Make sure new events are being added to your Google Calendar [1].

Adding the URL calendar to iCal:

To add the URL calendar to iCal, follow these steps:

1. Open iCal and select "File" > "New Calendar Subscription."
2. Enter the Calendar URL in the "Calendar URL" field.
3. Click "Subscribe."
4. Customize the settings as desired, such as setting the auto-refresh frequency.
5. Click "OK" to save the subscription [2].

Adding the URL calendar to Google Cal:

To add the URL calendar to Google Cal, follow these steps:

1. Open Google Calendar and click the "+" button next to "Other calendars."
2. Select "From URL."
3. Enter the Calendar URL in the "URL" field.
4. Click "Add calendar."
5. The calendar will appear under "Other calendars" [3].

Adding the URL calendar to Outlook:

To add the URL calendar to Outlook, follow these steps:

1. Open Outlook and select "File" > "Account Settings" > "Account Settings."
2. Select the "Internet Calendars" tab.
3. Click "New."
4. Enter the Calendar URL in the "Location" field.
5. Enter a name for the calendar in the "Name" field.

Delay to sync with Google Calendar:

Please note that there may be a delay of up to 12 hours for the URL calendar to sync with Google Calendar [1].

Syncing 'my calls':

The calendar link only syncs 'my calls' to ensure that users only see relevant information. If users need to see additional information, such as schedule details for other members of the orchestra, they will need to request access to those calendars separately.
